There will be a neighborhood wide yard sale

In August there will be a large annual yard sale in the Venetian Village. This sale has been going on for about 20 years now. SO... is anyone has any interest in participating I would love to hear from you.

Last year there were hundreds of people wandering the streets and I feel that we could have a good response.

I got a call from the dr.s office that said "all clear, it's B-9!!!
Yay for me!!!
Life is good, I am continuing to try to find a small warehouse space for a studio. I just need to get some of my home back. LOL

Does anyone have anything to add at all lately?

I am hoping to get myself back in form and get more of the real live presence back in Colorado Springs. We are supposed to be a street team, so I guess I will get some fresh way of looking at things from Etsy and go from there.

The changes in the laws that goes into effect...

Feb. 10 is going to be to much of a financial burden so I am having to change what I make. I will no longer offer anything made for children under the age of 12. This saddens me as I love to make kids toys and quilts. If this goes as badly for the industry as it appears it will this will end many charity and thrift shops as well. I know that even large market stores are going to have issues with having anything that complies with the law as it is written. So if you know anyone that has kids they might want to stock up so that when the stuff comes off the shelves Feb 09 they won't face a shortage of any kind. There is an open letter from Etsy in the forums I think. Please read it and make sure those you know have a good idea of if they are going to comply or ignore it and hope it can't be enforced.

I have the flu...

but intend to have more of a presence here this year. The MS seems to be leaving me alone again and I have even looked into becoming a moderator for Etsy street teams. I am hoping to have a small show this summer for us. I will post to bring everyone updates as it happens.
